What is the Easiest Way To Become A Model?
#1 Find a Good Photographer and have him or her take photos of you
Always remember to research the photographer, look at track records, past clients, and always take someone with you when doing any photo shoots.
Remember: Photographers sometimes have you sign releases or agreements, so make sure you read the entire agreement and ask questions like the following
What will happen with my photos?
If your photos are going to be used their site and in their portfolio, make sure you get this in writing. Also include in the release or agreement that any other use of your photos, by the photographer will have to be authorized by model (YOU) and that the photographer agrees to ask for my permission before use or distribution
Do I own the photos?
In most cases if you do a free photo shoot, then the photographer owns the pictures, but this is negotiable.
Also in some cases when you pay, the photographer still holds ownership of your photos, so read the agreement and negotiate accordingly.
How many edited photos will I receive
Usually photographers will charge you for any extra editing of photos you want, so know how many photos you get up front (edited) and what are the costs for extra photo editing.
#2 Submit your great looking photo’s to a modeling agency or you can go at it alone and target businesses in your area.
You can also ask family and friends who own businesses or others who own business to give you a chance to promote their products and services.
#3 Promote/Market Yourself- In your space time, promote your photo’s or work you have done to everyone you know and don’t know, or find someone like me who will promote you and get you exposure everywhere.
#4 Repeat the whole process over and over again
Remember: rejection is part of the game, you will experience a lot, but don’t give up, just keep going and going and going… soon you will be where you want to be
